Do you offer online counselling?

Yes, online appointments are available. For online therapy you will need a computer or device with a webcam and microphone. Please ensure that you have access to a quiet and private space where you won't be disturbed, to ensure that your counselling remains confidential. 

 

 

How much do you charge?

My rate is £60 per 50-minute session for individual counselling, and £75 per 50-minute session for relationship counselling. Longer sessions can be agreed by arrangement (fees will be adjusted accordingly).

Who do you work with?

 

I work with adults age 18+ of all genders, and see individuals, couples and people in non-traditional relationships. I work with a wide range of issues, including abuse, anxiety, bullying, confidence, depression, domestic abuse, family issues, grief and loss, life transitions, personal boundaries, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harming behaviours, trauma and workplace-related issues.

Tranquillo Counselling is based in central Falkirk in Stewart House, Stewart Road, FK2 7AS.​

Is there wheelchair access?

No, unfortunately there is no wheelchair access. My therapy room is up a flight of stairs and there is no lift. Online counselling is an option for anyone from whom stairs would be an access issue.

Do you offer couples counselling?

Yes, I offer relationship counselling to people in traditional and non-traditional relationships/partnerships.​

Do you offer free or low-cost counselling?

No, but to make counselling more affordable we can discuss the frequency of sessions, and work together fortnightly, every three weeks, or monthly.

Do I have to see you on the same day and time for every session?

I understand that work shifts, family commitments and other things can make scheduling appointments difficult, so at our first session we will talk about whether you would like a regular day/time slot, or whether a flexible time suits you better.
